Walt Kenzie is kind enough to cart our team tent to and from all the meets. He sets it up and he takes it down. He finds a lot of stuff left behind by our runners and has several items that some of your runners may be missing:

XL hoodie
blue Nalgene water bottle
small running spikes
If you believe that any of these items belong to you (kids) or your runner (parents) please contact Walt to arrange for a way to pick them up.

This Saturday’s meet is the Atlanta Classic at the Clinton Nature Preserve in Villa Rica, GA. ALL RUNNERS ARE RUNNING.
Bus leaves the senior parking lot at 5:30 a.m.
This meet is, effectively, the end of the JV season. This will be the last meet in which all runners will participate before the Region Meet which is Nov 1. In order to participate in the Region Meet, runners must meet time requirements at the Atlanta Classic Meet: Boys under 27:00 ; Girls under 30:00. Those runners who post times under these maximum times WILL run Region. Boys whose times are greater than 27:00 and girls whose times are greater than 30:00 WILL NOT run the Region meet.

Information for October. Please note:
October 4: There will be no race, but top 10 girls and top 10 boys will practice at 9:00 a.m.
October 11: Disney Invitational. You know who you are!
October 18: Coach Wood. Only the top 20 girls and the top 20 boys will run this meet.
October 25: No meet is currently scheduled, but Coach may run the varsity (top 10 girls and boys) in a yet-to-be-determined meet

Zach West, former XC member and brother of Thuy West , a sophomore runner on our team, died Wednesday, September 17. Zach leaves behind many friends and a large family.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 22 from 12pm to 2pm at Roswell Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2pm. Interment will take place at Green Lawn Cemetery.
Leslie Ann Krejci, the mother of Rosalie Thobe, one of our XC runners who graduated last year passed away on September 13, 2014.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 21 from 4:00-7:00pm at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075.
A memorial service for Leslie will be celebrated on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:00am at Northbrook United Methodist Church, 11225 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA. Reception will be immediately following.

Saturday, September 20, 2014 is the Fulton County Championship meet to be held at Milton High School.
All runners are running! Bus leaves RHS senior parking lot at 6:00 a.m.
Please check runner ranking to the left. Runners 1 – 7 are running varsity; runners 8-40 are running JV. The race schedule is as follows:
Girls JV 8:00 AM
Boys JV 8:45 AM
Girls V 9:30 AM
Boys V 10:15 AM
