Roswell High School Cross Country

There have been several questions about Friday morning practice. Sorry if the last announcement was unclear.

Just to clarify: There will be NO practice at 6:15 a.m. on this Friday, August 15, due to the time trials and picnic right after school.

Friday 6:15 a.m. practices will begin on Friday, August 22.

REMINDER: Time Trials and picnic will be Friday, August 15, at 5:30 at Don White Memorial Park. For more information see the attached “2014 Time Trials” document attached.

There are still opportunities to help with the Time Trials by bringing food or volunteering as set-up/clean-up crew or as course monitors. If you haven’t already signed up to help, please go to:

In order to claim a volunteer/food spot, you’ll need to register with Sign Up Genius. If you haven’t already registered with Sign Up Genius, it’s easy and safe to do. This is the tool we’ll use for other volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

PRACTICE: Now that school is in session, practice is right after school Mon-Thurs until about 5:45, and at 6:15AM on Friday.

After all those long runs and that hard work this summer, our team is ready for our first “competition”

RHS XC Time Trials will be held at the river at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 15, and will be followed by our annual pot-luck family picnic.
