Our next Pasta Dinner will be held September 18, 2014; just before our Fulton County meet on 9/20.

Immediately following the practice on 9/18. Please plan on taking your runner from RHS to the Broadwell’s. Pick up is after dinner, about 7:15.

Practice will no longer be held on Friday mornings. All runners will practice on Friday afternoons after school for the remainder of the season.

Warpath Invitational , Saturday, September 13, 2014, Boling Park, Canton, GA. Bus leaves the RHS senior parking lot at 6:00 a.m. ALL runners will be running.

Runners 1-7 will run varsity; runners 8-17, will run JV; runners 18-40 will run the open races. Schedule of races is as follows:
VARSITY GIRLS (Top 7 runners) – 8:00am
VARSITY BOYS (Top 7 runners) – 8:35am
JV Girls (Next 10 runners) – 9:00am
JV Boys (Next 10 runners) – 9:45am
OPEN Girls (unlimited JV) – 10:15am
OPEN Boys (unlimited JV) – 11:00am

Directions to Boling Park, 1200 Marietta Hwy:
Take I-575 to Exit 16, GA 140 W, Boling Park is first left after you cross the bridge onto Santia Road.

In light of Curriculum Night this Thursday, 9/11, some parents have expressed concern with picking up their runners and getting back to the school. Coach Evans will make sure practice is over on Thursday at 5:30 so that parents can pick up their runners, drop them at home and make it back to Curriculum Night.

ALL runners will be running in our Covered Bridge Meet, Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Garrard Landing Park,
8000 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30022

Bus will leave from the RHS senior parking lot at 6:00 a.m. to take runners to Garrard Landing. All runners are expected to stay until the awards are over. Bus will return runners to RHS. Runners may ride home with parents after the awards; please tell Coach Evans if this is your plan.

We are excited to announce our first XC Pasta Dinner of the 2014-2015 Season this Thursday!!

WHEN:
Immediately following the run on Thursday Sept 4, 2014. Runners are typically ready for pickup by about 7:15.

DETAILS:
Coach Evans has mapped the run on Thursday to end at the address above— runners will arrive at the location ready to feast on a fabulous Pasta Meal and socialize with the team. Runners who want to swim should bring a swimsuit and towel.
Parents can pick up their runners at the address above after the dinner.

BACKPACKS and bags will be taken from the school to the Devereux Downs clubhouse by a parent volunteer.

REMINDER ABOUT TODAY’S PRACTICE: Practice today is at Garrards Landing Park and a bus with transport to and from the venue. * Pick up at the high school will be later than usual, probably around 6:30 or 7:00.*
