Roswell High School Cross Country

Now that the sting of 2 fifth places finishes has abated a little, I want to thank the runners for their super efforts on Saturday at the Region Meet. I also, want to thank the parents for all their support on Saturday and throughout the season. If makes a difference to have you there to cheer the runners on.
Both varsity teams had outstanding races, which any in other year would have placed both in the State Meet. When 6 of the varsity boys and 5 of the varsity girls run PR’s, you can’t ask for better effort. I wouldn’t have been more proud of them if they had won region.
Also, congratulations to Rachel VanAmburgh for her state qualifying place at the Region Meet. I encourage everyone to take the trip on Saturday to Carrollton to support her in the championship race.
